Kyrgyzstan GDP Grows the Most in Over 3 Years


Kyrgyzstan’s GDP advanced by 10.6% from January to December 2024, accelerating from a 7.4% rise in the corresponding period of the previous year and marking the fastest expansion in over three years. 

The growth was driven by strong performances from the manufacturing and services sectors and increased net taxes on products. 

Specifically, manufacturing industries increased by 9.8%, services by 12.6%, and net taxes on products by 6.8% year-over-year. 

Services made up the largest portion of GDP at 52.3%, which decreased by 0.3 percentage points from last year. 

Meanwhile, the share of manufacturing grew by 0.9 percentage points, reaching 27.5%, as the share of industry increased by 1.1 percentage points, construction by 0.2 percentage points, and agriculture by 0.4 percentage points.
