Uzbekistan Fixed Capital Investment Up 17.5% in H1 2026


In Uzbekistan, the volume of investment in fixed capital from all sources of financing totaled USD 28,4 billion (338.9 trillion soums) in January–June 2026, the National Statistics Committee reported. Compared to the same period last year, the indicator grew by 17.5%.

Foreign investments and non-guaranteed foreign loans accounted for the largest share in the financing structure, reaching USD 19,74 billion (235.6 trillion soums).

Enterprises’ own funds accounted for USD 3,23 billion (38.6 trillion soums) of utilized investment. Foreign loans guaranteed by the Republic of Uzbekistan totaled USD 1,96 billion (23.4 trillion soums), while population funds amounted to USD 1,59 billion (19 trillion soums).

A total of USD 1,34 billion (16 trillion soums) was allocated from the republican budget for investment in fixed capital. Commercial bank loans and other borrowed funds totaled USD 402 million (4.8 trillion soums), and funds from the Reconstruction and Development Fund amounted to USD 117 million (1.4 trillion soums).
