Indonesia leader inaugurates miner Amman Mineral’s $1.4 bln copper smelter
Indonesian President Joko Jokowi Widodo inaugurated Amman Mineral Internasional’s 21 trillion rupiah ($ 1.4 billion) copper smelter in the West Nusa Tenggara province, saying he desired global clients to turn to Indonesia for copper items.
The smelter has an input capacity of 900,000 metric tons of copper concentrate each year. It is anticipated to start producing copper cathode at the end of the year, Amman stated.
