The strong growth and positive inflows enjoyed by European investment funds in recent months and years continued during the months from April to June, according to the latest statistics produced by trade body Efama.<\/p>\n
Its report for Q2 showed that net assets of Ucits and AIFs increased by 8.4% reaching \u20ac27.51 trillion.<\/p>\n
The same funds attracted net inflows of \u20ac267 billion, which is slightly down on the previous quarter.<\/p>\n
Long-term funds recorded net inflows of \u20ac223 billion with all long-term fund categories enjoying inflows between April and June.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile ETFs attracted record-high net sales and inflows of \u20ac117 billion over the quarter.<\/p>\n
The only blight on the quarterly report was the reduced demand for article 9 funds which continued to see net outflows totalling \u20ac3 billion.<\/p>\n
Hailin Yang, Senior Data Analyst at EFAMA, commented on the Q2 2026 figures: \u201cEuropean investment funds enjoyed a strong Q2, with net assets up 8.4% and record ETF inflows signalling robust investor demand,\u201d said Hailin Young, senior data analyst at Efama.<\/p>\n
