{"id":6336,"date":"2026-07-03T17:46:19","date_gmt":"2026-07-03T14:46:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/relinvestmentsgroup.com\/?p=6336"},"modified":"2026-07-06T06:57:02","modified_gmt":"2026-07-06T03:57:02","slug":"blagosostoyanie-v-aziatsko-tihookeanskom-regione-vyroslo-na-5-9-no-otstaet-ot-obshhemirovyh-tempov-na-fone-rezkogo-rosta-v-regione-emea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/relinvestmentsgroup.com\/en\/blagosostoyanie-v-aziatsko-tihookeanskom-regione-vyroslo-na-5-9-no-otstaet-ot-obshhemirovyh-tempov-na-fone-rezkogo-rosta-v-regione-emea\/","title":{"rendered":"APAC wealth grows 5.9% but trails global pace as EMEA surges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Global wealth hit its fastest growth since 2017 at 10.8% as APAC lagged at half that rate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Asia-Pacific personal wealth rose by 5.9% in 2025, picking up from the previous year of ~3.0%.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The region\u2019s growth was slower than Europe, the Middle East and Africa, which rose 17.5%, and the Americas, which grew 8.5%, according to UBS\u2019s Global Wealth Report 2026.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">UBS said currency movements, including a weaker US dollar, helped lift reported wealth outside the United States.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Several APAC markets ranked among the world\u2019s wealthiest by average wealth per adult.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Australia recorded $616,306, Singapore $527,217, New Zealand $449,852, Hong Kong SAR $648,267, Taiwan $332,533, South Korea $311,260 and Japan $211,846.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">South Korea recorded the strongest real average wealth growth among the markets analysed since 2020, with gains of more than 50%.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Taiwan also recorded growth of more than 25% over the same period.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The number of US dollar millionaires rose by 1.5% globally in 2025, adding nearly one million people, or more than 2,600 a day.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Mainland China was among the largest contributors after the United States. UBS said mainland China, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom and France each had more than 2 million millionaires.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">UBS said more than half of global personal wealth remained concentrated in the United States and mainland China combined.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The report also said higher wealth segments, especially those with assets above $5M, grew strongly in mainland China, Australia and the United States.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Globally, personal wealth rose by 10.8% in US dollar terms in 2025, the fastest growth since 2017 and the third consecutive year of increase.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The UBS report covers 56 markets, estimated to represent more than 92% of the world\u2019s wealth.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Global wealth hit its fastest growth since 2017 at 10.8% as APAC lagged at half that rate.
