The UAE\u2019s economy expanded by 6.2 percent year on year in 2025 to reach 1.9 trillion dirhams ($517 billion), driven by strong gains in the country\u2019s non-oil sector.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n According to official data from the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Center, the UAE\u2019s non-oil economy grew by 6.8 percent, reaching 1.5 trillion dirhams, state news agency WAM reported.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The UAE has intensified efforts to diversify its economy in recent years, seeking to reduce reliance on oil revenues by expanding sectors including finance, technology, manufacturing, tourism, and logistics.
