{"id":3499,"date":"2025-02-27T01:26:10","date_gmt":"2025-02-26T22:26:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/relinvestmentsgroup.com\/?p=3499"},"modified":"2025-02-27T01:26:10","modified_gmt":"2025-02-26T22:26:10","slug":"indoneziya-zapuskaet-novyj-fond-blagosostoyaniya-dlya-upravleniya-gosudarstvennymi-aktivami-na-summu-bolee-900-milliardov-dollarov-ssha","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/relinvestmentsgroup.com\/en\/indoneziya-zapuskaet-novyj-fond-blagosostoyaniya-dlya-upravleniya-gosudarstvennymi-aktivami-na-summu-bolee-900-milliardov-dollarov-ssha\/","title":{"rendered":"Indonesia launches new wealth fund to manage US$900 billion-plus of state assets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Indonesia has launched a new sovereign wealth fund to manage more than US$900 billion of state assets, two weeks after its parliament approved legislative amendment paving the way for the creation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Known as Daya Anagata Nusantara or Danantara, the wealth fund is expected to function like Singapore\u2019s state investment firm Temasek Holdings, which holds strategic stakes in many top local companies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Danantara will take control of government holdings in state companies, with an initial budget of $20 billion, Prabowo Subianto, Indonesia\u2019s president, said in a speech when launching the fund.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Describing it as \u201can initiative that has never been done before in Indonesia\u201d, he said Danantara \u201cwill become one of the largest sovereign wealth funds in the world\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">He said Danantara will invest in several products across a wide range of sectors, including renewable energy and food production, this year and that it will play a key role in helping the Indonesian economy grow 8% in 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Indonesia launched its first sovereign wealth fund, the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA), in 2021 with an initial capital of $5 billion.
