{"id":2209,"date":"2024-08-05T09:47:09","date_gmt":"2024-08-05T06:47:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/relinvestmentsgroup.com\/?p=2209"},"modified":"2024-08-05T09:47:10","modified_gmt":"2024-08-05T06:47:10","slug":"kvartalnyj-rost-vvp-chehii-ne-opravdal-ozhidanij-rynka","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/relinvestmentsgroup.com\/en\/kvartalnyj-rost-vvp-chehii-ne-opravdal-ozhidanij-rynka\/","title":{"rendered":"Czechia\u2019s quarterly GDP rise falls short of market expectations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Czech economy\u2019s 3rd consecutive increase was due to increasing domestic demand, says statistical office\u2019s director.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Czechia\u2019s seasonally adjusted gross domestic product (GDP) rose 0.3% in the second quarter for the third consecutive time, up from a 0.2% growth in the previous quarter, but below the market expectations of 0.4%, according to a preliminary estimate by the Czech Statistical Office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The quarterly increase in the GDP was due to increasing domestic demand, data showed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Czech economy grew 0.4% in the second quarter compared to last year\u2019s same quarter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The year-on-year growth was mainly due to increased final consumption expenditure of households and the government, while external demand showed a positive influence, said Vladimir Kermiet, the director of the National Accounts Department of the Czech Statistical Office (CZSO).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">At the same time, employment rose 0.5% on a quarterly basis, and 0.2% on an annual basis.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Czech economy\u2019s 3rd consecutive increase was due to increasing domestic demand, says statistical office\u2019s director.
