{"id":1383,"date":"2024-04-12T11:31:12","date_gmt":"2024-04-12T08:31:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/relinvestmentsgroup.com\/?p=1383"},"modified":"2024-04-13T11:35:41","modified_gmt":"2024-04-13T08:35:41","slug":"mirovaya-ekonomika-chrezvychajno-ustojchiva-blagodarya-moshhnoj-aktivnosti-v-ssha-i-stranah-s-razvivayushhejsya-rynochnoj-ekonomikoj","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/relinvestmentsgroup.com\/en\/mirovaya-ekonomika-chrezvychajno-ustojchiva-blagodarya-moshhnoj-aktivnosti-v-ssha-i-stranah-s-razvivayushhejsya-rynochnoj-ekonomikoj\/","title":{"rendered":"World economy \u2018remarkably resilient\u2019, driven by robust activity in US and emerging market economies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The world economy has been \u201cremarkably resilient\u201d despite a more challenging global environment, but better policies need to be in place to avoid entering a decade of sluggish growth and rising debt, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Global growth is marginally stronger, driven by better-than-expected performance in the United States and many emerging market economies, including India and Indonesia, said the financial institution\u2019s managing director Kristalina Georgieva.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This was helped by strong labour markets, sustained household consumption, business investment and an easing of supply chain problems.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Sound fundamentals built over the past years were crucial for today\u2019s resilience in avoiding a global recession and a period of stagflation, she said during an Atlantic Council event in Washington.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cWe have seen a lot being done for strong macroeconomic policies and the payoff comes at this time of shocks,\u201d Ms Georgieva said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Still, global economic activity is weak by historical standards and growth has slowed.
